Who does the Grow Thrive Shine Occupational Therapist provide services to?
Grow Thrive Shine Occupational Therapist will see children aged 0-18 years.
If you are under the National Disability Insurance Scheme your child may be eligible for occupational therapy as part of their plan. Children who are privately funded for therapy are also welcome.
Together, we will focus on things that are important and meaningful for you and your child.
Your child may benefit from:
Functional capacity assessment and report (or another NDIS-required report)
Sensory processing assessment & intervention
Play skill assessment & intervention
Fine motor &/or Gross Motor assessment and intervention
Emotional regulation assessment &/or intervention
Assessment & intervention for daily living skills (e.g. dressing, eating, bathing, sleeping)
Recommendations for assistive technology/adaptive equipment
Designing tasks & spaces to maximise your child’s function & safety
